Chapter 3 – Krone’s Training
In the end, the battle was settled in only five minutes by the 1st Unit that came to reinforce us.
We retrieved all that remained of the 4th Unit led by Krone and returned to the city.
After leaving the wounded at the hospital and infirmary, I reported back to Lucy on the same day.
“So the results were not good?”
“Yes, I was not very good in my estimation, which caused damage to the unit. I am sorry.”
After my apology, Lucy looked like she was thinking for a moment. Then said to me,
“Let me think about what to do with the 4th Unit in the meantime. Instead, I want you to take care of Lady Krone. From what I have seen, she is still very… agitated about what happened. Like I was before I met you.”

Soon, I recognized the lone figure of the person who’s supposed to be living inside it.
I saw Krone, all curled up on the bed.
I walked up to her and pulled off the sheets.

When I attempted to speak to her, Krone rolled her body to face the opposite direction.

I had looked at her previous military history before we went out; for sure, she had seen some real combat.

“They didn’t teach me that at military school.”
